About Sarkari Job

Sarkari Job is an independent website that tracks Indian government job notifications, admit cards, answer keys, results and admission forms. We turn long official notices into short, checked pages that work well on a phone, and we link every page to its official source so you can confirm it yourself.

Why this site exists

Millions of candidates apply for government jobs every year, and most of them search on a mobile phone. Official notices are long PDFs, often released on several websites at once, and many job sites copy each other's mistakes or leave expired forms online for months. We wanted one place where every update follows the same structure, shows when it was last checked, and says plainly when something is not yet confirmed.

What we cover

• Latest jobs from central recruiters (SSC, the Railway Recruitment Boards, UPSC, IBPS, central armed police forces, central PSUs) and state bodies (public service commissions, staff selection boards, police and teacher recruitment boards).
• The full exam cycle – exam city slips, admit cards, answer keys with objection windows, results, cut-offs and the next stage.
• Admission and entrance exams such as GATE, IIT JAM and CAT.
• Syllabus and exam pattern for popular exams, taken from the official notice.
• Hubs that group jobs by state, qualification and department, and free tools for salary, DA, age eligibility and photo resizing.

How updates are made

Every post starts from the official notification or the recruiter's website. We copy dates, fees, vacancies, age limits and pay from that source, cross-check the key numbers, and publish only what we can confirm. If a number is not in the notice yet, the page says "As per official notice (awaited)". If two reliable sources disagree, the page says so and points you to the notice. Each post shows its Published and Last Updated dates, the author or desk responsible, and a "Verified from" link to the official source. Forms close automatically on the site after their last date, so an expired form is never shown as open. Closed posts stay online so you can follow the admit card and result, and they point to similar forms that are still open.

Our principles

• Official sources first. We link only to official websites for applying, downloading admit cards or checking results.
• No guessing. We do not publish rumoured vacancies or "expected" numbers as facts.
• Corrections in the open. When we fix a mistake, we update the page and its Last Updated date. See our corrections policy.
• Independence. We are not paid by any recruiter, coaching institute or political party to publish or change an update.

What we are not

We are not a government body, recruitment agency, placement service or coaching institute. We do not collect applications, sell forms or promise jobs. Government recruitment never requires paying an agent; anyone asking for money to "confirm" a government job is running a scam – report it to the cyber crime helpline 1930.
