Photo & Signature Resizer in KB
Resize a photo, signature, thumb impression or declaration to the KB size and pixel dimensions a government form asks for. Choose a preset or enter your own size, then download the JPG. Everything runs in your browser – your image is never uploaded.
How the photo resizer works
- If you set width and height, the image is centre-cropped to that shape and scaled to the exact pixels, on a white background.
- It then saves a JPG, trying different quality levels to get the largest file that stays under your maximum KB.
- If no dimensions are set and the file is still too big, it reduces the dimensions step by step.
- You preview the result, see its size, and download it. The original file is untouched.
Worked example: IBPS photograph
Choose "IBPS / bank exams – Photograph". The tool sets 200 × 230 pixels and a 20–50 KB range. Select a clear, recent passport-style colour photo with a light background and press Resize. The result shows the exact size: if it is below 20 KB, start from a sharper, larger original and resize again.

Tips for a photo that is accepted
- Recent colour photo, face clearly visible, light plain background, no cap or dark glasses.
- Sign in black or blue ink on white paper; do not sign in capital letters if the notice forbids it.
- Crop tightly around the signature before resizing so it stays readable.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my photo uploaded to your server?
No. The image is read and resized inside your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else.
How do I resize a photo to 50 KB?
Choose the 'Any form – up to 50 KB' preset (or type 50 in Max size), select your photo and press Resize. Download the JPG when the result shows a size within the limit.
Photo resizer 100kb kaise use karein?
Select the 'up to 100 KB' preset, choose your photo and press Resize. The tool lowers JPEG quality step by step until the file fits under 100 KB.
What are the IBPS photo and signature sizes?
Photo 200 × 230 pixels, 20–50 KB; signature 140 × 60 pixels, 10–20 KB; left thumb impression 240 × 240 pixels, 20–50 KB; handwritten declaration 800 × 400 pixels, 50–100 KB. Check the current notice before uploading.
Does SSC need a photo upload?
SSC's application module captures your photo live through the camera, so you usually upload only your signature, at 10–20 KB. Check the notice for the exact dimensions.
Why is my file below the minimum KB?
Very small or plain images compress too well. Start from a larger, sharper original or scan, then resize again.
