DA Calculator 2026 with Arrear Calculator
Enter your basic pay and choose the DA rate to see your monthly dearness allowance. Pick the previous rate and the number of months to calculate DA arrears. DA for central government employees is 60% of basic pay from 1 January 2026.
How the DA calculator works
- DA per month = basic pay × DA rate.
- Monthly increase = basic pay × (new rate − previous rate).
- Arrears = monthly increase × number of months between the effective date and the first month paid at the new rate.
Worked example: DA from January 2026
A Level 6 employee with basic pay of ₹35,400 gets DA of ₹21,240 a month at 60%, against ₹20,532 at 58% – an increase of ₹708 a month. The 60% rate was approved in April 2026 with effect from 1 January 2026, so arrears for January to March come to ₹708 × 3 = ₹2,124.
