How We Verify Every Update
Last Updated:
Every post on Sarkari Job goes through the same checklist before it is published and each time it is updated. This page explains the steps and the official websites we watch.
From official notification to published post
- Find the official source. We start from the notice on the recruiter's official website (or the official PDF it links to). If we cannot find it on an official site, we do not publish.
- Record the source. The URL of the notice or official page is saved with the post and shown as "Verified from".
- Copy the facts, not the wording. Notice number, dates, vacancies (total, post-wise and category-wise where given), fee by category, age limit and the date it is counted on, qualification, pay level and selection stages are taken from the source.
- Cross-check the numbers. Key numbers are cross-checked against a second reliable report. If the totals do not add up or sources disagree, the page says so and points to the notice.
- Check every link. Apply, admit card and result buttons go only to official domains (gov.in, nic.in or the organisation's own domain named in the notice).
- Mark what is missing. Anything not yet released is marked "awaited". We never fill a gap with a guess.
- Set the status. Open, upcoming, closed, out, awaited or expected. Forms with a last date change status automatically.
- Second look. The page is reviewed against the source once more before going live, and the Last Updated date is set.
After publishing
- We re-check open forms for extensions, corrigenda and changes in vacancies, and update the page and its date when something changes.
- When the next stage comes (admit card, answer key, result), it gets its own post linked to the original.
- Reader reports are checked against the official source and corrected under our corrections policy.
